Family trip to Lagoon!

We took a family trip to Lagoon about a week ago. We were not sure how things would go with Carter but from the 1st ride he got on he was having the time of his life. He got so excited on every ride and I had a few sad moments realizing just how big he is getting. It was a fun experience, but one I would not like to repeat for about 3 years. We were all worn out by the end of the day and glad to get home.

This car ride cracked me up. The average age of the kids on this ride was about 4 or the younger kids were riding with an older sibling. Not Carter though :) He was just a cruising all by himself. What a stinker!

Reading......over and over and over!

Carter reading his favorite book Alphabet Zoo. We read this book an average of 10 times a day which is a lot I must say but Carter is already saying the name of the animal and the noises they make so let's read it again!

Welcome to Wendover

Vick and I decided to take a little trip out to Wendover for the night. We left after Vick's company golf tournament on 07.11.08 It was nice to get away even if it was just to Wendover for one night. Vick got to play some poker I played a few of the slot machines, did some swimming, got my very own king size bed and woke up and drove home. Nothing super exciting to report other than my stupid neck injury in the pool which I will not go into detail about.

It is quite clear that Carter is a little too big for his play toy wagon but he has convinced himself otherwise so who I am to ruin his fun!

Music...Music....Music!

As many of you know Carter is obsessed with music. Whether it be Little Einsteins on tv, ABC's in his bedroom, the radio in the car or the piano at grandma's house, he just loves it. He is a funny little dancer too. Anything with a beat and he will dance to it. My favorite is asking him to lead the music. His finger pointed, arm up and he leads away! So cute!

Simple entertainment!

Here are Vick and Carter checking out the horses behind my parents house. Carter loves watching them. He makes a funny little clicking noise when you ask him where the horses are and walks over to the ladder. Grandma was getting a little irritated with the little sneaky guy in the bottom picture....he must have been really hungry because he was trying to sneak a bite from the planter box on the fence.
