Mr. Independent

This is our little Mr. Independent! He is walking all over. He seems to think that he can do anything he wants all by himself. He had a busy day today after riding along to take dad to work due to car troubles with dad's car but everything should be good to go 2morrow by lunchtime. We then spent a good 6 hours at Grandma Curly's hanging out waiting for the Comcast guy to come hook up her new cable box. Then it was out to visit Grandma Peg home to pick up Zoey so she could ride with us back to pick up dad from work. Got home for the day and took a nice long nap.... woke up for just a few and then it was bath time and back to bed. Mom and dad had some chill time for a bit ordered some yummy Sampan and hit the sack early. What a busy life!!!!

Ears always facing forward!

My daily ritual includes watching at least one episode of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Vick (being the detail oriented man that he is) pointed out yesterday something interesting about Mickey's ears. They are always facing forward even when Mickey is not. I know it seems to be a useless piece of knowledge but did you ever notice it before? If anyone can find a side view of Mickey's ears let me know. Hey it just might give you something to do....maybe not!!!

The Big Birthday Boy!

This week things should be pretty busy around our house getting ready for Carter's big 1 year birthday bash on Sunday. This past year has been filled with every emotion I could have imagined and more! It feels like we just brought Carter home from the hospital and now he is walking around faster than either Vick or I can keep up with. He is the most amazing little kid! His energy never seems to run out and I am sure this is only the beginning. We love him more than anything and feel so blessed that he is ours!

Crash Course

I am working on getting familiar with what exactly I am doing when it comes to blogging. lol! I think I figured out how to post pictures just not in the right spot yet. Hopefully Kasey can help me this weekend and give me the crash course.

All aboard the blog bandwagon!

So here is my first attempt into the world of blogging! Most anyone who will be looking at this blog will already know about me,Vick and Carter so I will not go into long drawn out details of who we are and what we do. I just figured that this is a great way to keep in touch and get the latest and greatest news from all my friends and family. All aboard the blog bandwagon! As crazy as my life is I am not really sure why I think this is a great idea but hey I will give it an honest effort and see how things go!
