Memorable Memorial Day

7:00a.m. or close to it Sunday morning Carter and I loaded in the Tahoe with my mom,my grandma,Kasey, Hope and Tyler. With everyone buckled in we were on the road to Emery county. We have a lot of family buried down that way so we headed down to visit a few graves and pay tribute to loved ones passed. Good times in the Tahoe that is for sure! We had to keep things wild with our vehicle filled to capacity. We stopped in Spanish Fork at McDonald's for some breakfast and Peggy ordered her favorite "McSkittle!" burrito, or so she thought it was called. We made it through the canyon playing: Country,State or City and then some lovely singing contributed by all. Driving into Elmo we were graced with some rather dead livestock and the winning comment of the whole trip goes to Tyler!!! We visited the Ferron cemetery where great-grandma Reva and her family are buried. Then a 15 minute drive to Orangeville where grandpa Curtis and his family are buried. A quick tailgate lunch prepared by grandma Peg felt like fine dining to all. Then....back to Elmo for a bit to visit and on the road again we go. Carter was such a trooper! He was so good the whole time. He was definitely wiped out when we got home and ready to hit the sack. All this is one day..... I know.

Here we are at the Ferron cemetary. This grave is my grandma Curly's mother Reva.
Carter checking out the scenery
These 3 graves belong to my great-grandma Reva's 3 sister's who passed away very young.
I really like this picture too bad there is so much shadowing...anyhow....This is a memorial in honor of my great-great-great grandfather John Chester.
