Finally an update....

I have not posted in a while but we tend to get a little busy so blogging takes the back burner. This summer has been good so far. Last week was our 2nd girls week at the pool...Mahina took a much deserved "sick" day and joined us with little Eme. I forgot my camera, of course, but we were having way too much fun to be bothered with pictures. Carter is a little water monkey. He kept getting irritated that I was holding him like, "Hey mom don't you know I can do this on my own." So cute but yet so sad how fast he is growing up. We spend a lot of time at the pool in this hot weather. Carter loves swimming around with his dad in the big pool and trying to copy everything Vick does. Carter also loves his mini pool at my parent's house. Just his size and perfect for making really big splashes! Besides swimming.... Vick purchased himself a set of golf clubs and went to practice with Curtis. He has a company tournament next Friday. I am sure he will not make it to "Tiger" status by then but he is enjoying it and found out quickly he needed to buy gloves due to the extra large blister on his thumb. Carter and I stay busy here at home. He is such a little helper and I love watching him learn so many new things every day. Life is good and we are looking forward to a 4 day work week next week. Hopefully we will find something exciting to do for the 4th of July.

The BIG 28!

Well with 10 minutes left of Vick's birthday....I thought...hmmmm I don't think I have taken 1 single picture of the big 28th birthday. So these are kinda some lame pics but what do you do. Vick and I went to dinner on Vick's acutal birthday June 7th, at Cocina Toscana. It is a really good Italian restaurant downtown. Then on Sunday we had a family dinner at my parents house with ribs,baked potato and salad bar,fresh fruit and ice cream sundaes to top things off. During dessert Vick opened a few gifts and then we all just hung out in the backyard for a bit. Played a little basketball,golf,some wagon fun and just sat around visitng. Zoey came along for the fun. She loves the big back yard and would run out there for hours on end if we would let her. It was a really nice day....pretty warm so we were glad to get inside to some nice A/C. I hope your birthday was a memorable one babe. Love you!

A fun filled week!

This week at our house has been spent doing some serious grilling on our new BBQ, enjoying our new laptop(yes our old trusty desktop finally died) and having tonz and tonz of fun playing the Wii. We checked just about every store in the state to try and find the Wii and it was nearly impossible. The Target in Riverdale had 5 in stock but didn't really feel like a road trip for a gaming system so we finally found a guy selling one on craigslist so we met up with him and headed home to enjoy our new purchase. My arms hurt today that is for sure, it kicks your butt. Love it!!!

We grilled everything from steak,chicken,bugers,veggies,shrimp and fruit. So yummy!

I am fairly clueless when it comes to all the bells and whistles that our new laptop has to offer. All I know is that its super fast,super convenient and takes up way less space.

The almost impossible to find....Nintendo Wii gaming system. Just got it yesterday but am very happy with it thus far.
